The calendar for the upcoming school year was approved by gcisd’s board of trustees at their december 19. 9, 2023, and will conclude on may 23, 2024, with graduation for all three high schools planned for friday, may 24. Corpus christi isd has released calendars for the next two school years. This new calendar means that the following academic year could start in the month of august or september 2023 and conclude in either october or november 2024.
